I can do it with pressure, however a gentle attempt with pliers is easy. Pulling the set mechanism in and out is difficult. The watch sets, winds and runs and the ticking is audible. The grade came from research of serial numbers. Serial number and store are engraved on the inside workings. This Antique Pocket Watch was made in 1894 with a serial number of 57441 and is Grade 975.
